Nottingham Forrest – A Molecular Fusion Bar in Milano

Meet Nottingham Forrest!

After several attempts to get in to this place, we finally were successful last night! We only waited about 20 minutes to get in, which was quick compared to the other times we attempted in get in and ended up leaving because it was too cold outside. The bar is a small and quaint little place that only has room for around 25 or so people at one time.

The drinks at this place are far from ordinary and the menu is similar to that of the Cheesecake Factory in length. You should visit their website just to see a few of the concoctions they create there First up, was Paul’s smokey vodka drink (which we don’t remember the name of)

My first drink was a vanilla/lime/Vodka mixture that was delicious and it was called the Sicily by Dolce & Gabbana:

All of the drinks there are about as pretty in presentation as they are tasty! You also get some snacks that are just okay. They included Olives, Nuts, Pizza Bread, Spinach Quiche, Hot crackers and some mystery meat that we both were afraid to try.

For our second round, Paul had “The Claud” a peach/Vodka/and alcohol infused whip cream treat:

My second drink was called the Galaxy, however that translates into Firewater! It was so strong that Pauly gave me a high-five just for finishing it! The bartender asked me if it was ok, and I told him “Benzina?” which means gasoline in Italian – he laughed!!!!

All in all we had a great time and if you can get into Nottingham Forrest it is worth the experience. The crowd seemed to lessen around 8:00pm but that is not a promise. One last note about Nottingham, it was named World’s 50 Best Bars in 2012.

    • We should meet and grab a coffee. Depending on how long you have been here and what your missing from home, my husband and I know some great places to eat and shop for American style items!
